We understand that learning is a life-long skill. From Nursery through to Year 6, our curriculum is designed to be both rich and purposeful, shaped by the needs and interests of our pupils. Whether it is an inspiring lesson, an expert visit, or enrichment opportunities like trips, workshops, and residentials, we aim to spark curiosity and instil a true love of learning that helps children achieve their potential throughout their education and beyond.

We are highly ambitious for our pupils and encourage everyone in our school to strive for excellence, carefully taking into account each child’s unique starting point. We set high expectations for both personal and academic growth. Our goal is to ensure every child leaves Latchmere with a deep understanding across all subject areas, alongside the confidence, resilience, independence, and moral grounding to succeed in the next stage of their education.

Behind all of this is a dedicated team of talented and caring staff, committed to helping every child reach their full potential. We also firmly believe that the partnership between school and home is essential to this success. By working closely with parents, carers, governors, the wider community, and our fantastic Latchmere School Parents Association (LSPA), we create the foundation for a happy, successful school journey where children grow in confidence and feel proud of their achievements.
