Congratulations to the Year 6 boys Football team who competed in Fulham FC’s South East England Regional Finals on Monday 13th January.

After playing 6 tough group games, Latchmere qualified for the semi-finals and were drawn against Cleves School. A 2-1 win earnt Latchmere a place in the final against Green Lane. It was an end to end game, with both teams having opportunities to win the game in normal time, but it finished 1-1 meaning the winning team would be decided by a penalty shootout.

Latchmere, unfortunately, lost 2-1 on penalties but the boys were extremely proud of their achievement with the Fulham coaches naming them the ‘second-best team in the South East’.
