Year 6 visit Kew Gardens

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to visit Kew Gardens. We experienced a re-creation of a tropical rainforest and even spotted a water dragon lizard. We learnt about many fascinating rainforest species: our particular favourite was the pitcher plant (a flytrap)! Many of us overcame our fear of heights and had the privilege to venture high above the vegetation in the Tree-top Walkway. Everyone had an amazing time; the weather was fantastic and it was a fun, action-packed day.
