Reception News

Reception have had a very EGGciting week! On Monday morning we had chicken eggs delivered to the classrooms and we have been patiently waiting for them to hatch. On Tuesday afternoon a crack appeared! The children sat transfixed, taking notes on clipboards and waiting to see what would happen…. When we came into school Thursday morning, we were greeted by chirping bundles of fluff. The children were so excited and wanted Mrs Ritchie to see! We have had some lovely writing and letters about the chicks. The children have thoroughly enjoyed drawing, painting, crafting and writing about the chicks. Next week the children will be able to hold the chicks and they cannot wait!
