On Tuesday 5th June, our 13 Eco Stars organized an event for every year group to celebrate World Environment Day. Each activity was different but all were related to the amount of plastic in our oceans and seas, which leads to creatures losing their lives. They passed on the message that this is a terrible thing to happen and must be stopped by recycling. As well as the events, there were posters up around school to remind everyone.
Thank you to everyone who participated by dressing up and supporting the children on the day.
A special mention to Alexa in Indigo Class who had made a skirt to wear out of plastic bags and a collar on which she had drawn beautiful pictures of dolphins and turtles.
