Year 5 and 6 Cross Country

On Tuesday 7th November, over 600 children from across the borough (from independent and state schools) took part in a two kilometre Cross Country race. We were extremely proud of the effort put in by all our children. Despite very strong competition, and over 30 school teams, the Year 5 girls team finished in 3rd position, Year 5 boys finished 1st (with an impressive individual medal for 3rd position for Bertie Thomas), Year 6 girls finished in 6th position and Year 6 boys 3rd. Congratulations to all the children who represented Latchmere School in this challenging event.
