This week in Year 3

Year 3 had a fabulous Egyptian Workshop this week. We all dressed up as Egyptians and then got to take part in the show. On Wednesday, we had a really fun Egyptian day. We all took part in an incredible workshop where we acted out the story of Moses. In each class there were a variety of Ancient Egyptian activities which we enjoyed. Some of us even had a go at excavating a mummy out of a block of plaster! We did some fun Egyptian maths where we had to crack Egyptian codes and turn them into English numbers and then we even challenged our friends. In the afternoon we learnt about mummification and even made our own mummies. We had a fantastic day! 3F

My favourite part of the Egyptian day was the Egyptian play because I love acting and I got to be a slave and act alongside the other people.
