On Tuesday 20th June, Maia, Jaden, Oliver S, Alec, Monty, Finian, Daniel C and Jamie B went to KGS School sports grouns (Ditton Field) for a Year 5 cricket tournament. There were 16 teams competing. We played two matches in the group stages and won those, and then we won our semi-finals match. Unfortunately, we lost the final by one run but we tried our best and had fun in the sun. Following their success in the Kingston borough tournament, our Year 6 team went on to represent Kingston in the Surrey tournament this week. The standard was very high and we tried our best, although we didn’t win many games due to the stiff competition. Well done to Harry, Kin-Wah, Isaac, Fynn, Leon, Oliver, Sam and James.
