Keep Britain Tidy’s national litter clean-up campaign, the Great British Spring Clean, turned out to be a big success in Ham and Petersham. On Saturday 4th March, 50 people of all ages met on Ham Common for a couple of hours of picking up litter. Blake (Blue Class) said, “It was great fun litter picking with my friend Emily and my brother Spencer. Everywhere looked much nicer afterwards. Litter belongs in the bin and not on the ground!”
Nabil (3L) played in the under 10s Kingston Open tennis tournament on Saturday 13th May and won! It was an early start at 7.30am and his opponent was two years older than him. Nabil was one set and four games down but made an awesome comeback.
Congratulations to Idris (Emerald Class) who won a silver medal in Tolworth Gymnastics Club competition on Sunday 7th May. It was for a floor routine and vault.
