Annual Court Service

On Monday 16th September, the new Team Captains were invited to attend the Annual Crown Court Service at All Saints Parish Church in Kingston. This event was held to mark the opening of the Crown Court Sessions with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor attending in their robes, chains etc with several judges from Kingston Crown Court. The ceremony has a fascinating history with Kingston being one of the customary venues for Assizes as far back as the Middle Ages. We all had a great time singing hymns and listening to the Mayor read from the Bible.
