Congratulations to Taheem
Taheem in 5D has just received some fantastic news! You might remember Taheem from his Junior Olympics achievement two yeas ago, where he represented Great Britain in a sport called roller hockey and they won bronze in California.
Taheem has also been busy playing ice hockey, a sport which is played by thousands in the UK. For the second year in a row, Taheem has been selected for his regional South East conference team. He and his teammates will be heading to Belgium next year to play in an international ice hockey tournament and then battle it out against the best of the best at the junior national UK championships.
However, the most exciting news for Taheem has been that he has been named as one of the top prospects in his age group by the EIHA (English Ice Hockey Association) after he was selected by his Headcoach of his South East conference team to take part in a special England ice hockey training camp over the Christmas holidays.
This is a real accomplishment for Taheem as only 44 children from all of England have received an invitation to this camp.
